Hi, I'm an Artist based in North Wales, I like to paint in oils. After studying Architecture in Bristol UWE I began to document the built and natural environment, focusing on the architectural and social context of the areas I paint.
Original paintings are for sale, if not yet sold. Limited timber mounted canvas prints are available for most paintings. I will take on commissions too. If you have any queries please inbox me in contact.
I hope you enjoy the website
Within the depths of the old city is a chaotic network of narrow streets paved with limestone, polished by feet. Lining the streets are continuous terrace buildings with flat roofs and an architectural style I could only say has a hap hazard/bolt on evolution to each building. Where later editions, amends and repairs that have been made over the centuries are still visible in the facade. The yellow fire hydrants, loose cables and police barriers are all common place in the back streets of the old city. Almost all of the roofs are busy with rusty satellite dishes, aerials and water tanks. A bizarre aspect of these streets is that they are noisy with the grinding sounds of building work and slamming metal doors, but you don't see many people.
